Driven by Lived Experience.

Driven by Lived Experience.

NETCH supports children, young people, families, and professionals through inclusive, trauma-informed programmes that improve outcomes and strengthen communities.

Lived experience expertise sits at the heart of everything we do. We centre the voices of children, young people, families, and practitioners to co-create resources and programmes that are inclusive, trauma informed, and grounded in real world understanding.

About Us

NETCH was created in response to real gaps within the social care system — gaps we have seen first-hand through years of working across the sector. We have witnessed the pressures teams face.Too often, professionals are expected to respond to complex needs without the resources, training, or capacity to do so effectively. At the same time, the voices and experiences of those with lived experience are not always meaningfully embedded into practice.

NETCH was founded to change that.

Our Mission

To create safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces where children, young people, and families can access the right support, knowledge, and opportunities — at the right time, and in the right way.

Our Vision

We envision a future where every child, young person, and family feels supported, valued, and empowered — and where professionals are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to deliver support that creates lasting change.

Our Core Values

Lived experience expertise sits at the heart of everything we do. We centre the voices of children, young people, families, and practitioners to co-create resources and programmes that are inclusive, trauma informed, and grounded in real world understanding.

— NETCH CIC

What makes NETCH different is our commitment to co-creation. We bring together lived experience, professional expertise, and evidence-informed approaches to ensure everything we develop is relevant, usable, and impactful in real world settings.

Our aim is simple – to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice.

We want to see a system where professionals feel supported, where lived experience is valued, and where children and young people receive the understanding, stability, and opportunities they deserve.

— NETCH CIC

Why We Exist

Our organisation was founded in memory of Netchell — a young man whose life and experiences profoundly shaped our mission. His journey highlighted the gaps within support systems and the need for earlier, more effective intervention. This became the driving force behind our commitment to create meaningful change, ensuring that children, young people, and families receive the understanding, opportunities, and support they deserve.

NETCH is a catalyst for change, where lived experience drives action and lasting impact

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can  change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has”

— Margaret Mead
